Welcome to Canopy

Canopy is a community of artists, gallerists, and other creatives, located in Central East Austin. The centerpiece of the property, a former Goodwill warehouse, consists of 89 studios, three galleries, several creative offices, and a café/coffee shop.

This month’s artist spotlight is on Slantt, Canopy’s newest resident!

Slantt is a small sculptural line of jewelry designed by Jennifer Rodgers and made by hand in her Austin studio based within the Canopy community. Visit Jennifer in Building #1 #111 during Open Canopy, the first Saturday of every month from 1-4pm.

Visit their studio during Open Canopy, the first Saturday of every month at 916 Springdale Rd. from 1-4pm. This lively open studio event features gallery exhibitions, open artist studios, pop-ups, live DJs on the patio, and much more. It’s family-friendly and the perfect way to spend an afternoon exploring East Austin’s creative scene.

Join us monthly in celebration of local art and creative process. Get a behind-the-scenes look at local artists’ studios within the Canopy Community, enjoy live music, free drinks, and on-site galleries and retail shops.
